Riverside.fm

Riverside is a platform designed to enhance your podcasting experience by providing high-quality remote recording capabilities. Tailored for podcasters, this platform enables seamless, studio-quality audio and video recording with guests or co-hosts, regardless of their geographical location. With its user-friendly interface, Riverside allows you to conduct professional interviews or discussions, capturing each participant's audio and video locally for optimal sound and image quality. Riverside also includes features such as automatic backup recordings, real-time audio engineering tools, and easy file management, ensuring a hassle-free podcasting process.

My favorite feature is the “Magic Clips” feature. It finds highlights from your podcast and creates shorter clips for you that you can post to social media! You can resize the clips so that they’re optimal for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or whatever platform you want to post them to. It’s awesome! I’ve found Riverside to be such a useful tool that has saved me so much time with editing and creating shareable content for my podcast.

Riverside is such a valuable tool for content creators. If you’re looking to elevate the production quality of your podcasts, Riverside is the way to go!

This is the microphone I use to record my podcast episodes. It’s a pretty reasonably priced microphone option and has great audio quality! It plugs straight into your computer with a USB port which makes it so easy to record straight into your computer!

If you plan on making a video podcast, this tripod is great. Super adjustable. I just use my iPhone when I record my podcasts! You really don’t need to invest in a fancy camera (unless you already have one!) because the iPhone camera quality is pretty phenomenal.

Pop filter for the microphone. Helps to soften “S” and “T” sounds so they aren’t quite as prominent on your audio recording. Super cheap to add to your microphone.

Desktop microphone stand. Works great with my mic and is easily adjustable.

These are definitely not a necessity! I use these when I’m editing my podcast which really helps with sound quality. You can use your regular headphones and that’ll work just fine! This was a splurge item for me but I do love them so I wanted to include them here for anyone looking to invest in quality headphones!
